Newfoundworld Investment Holdings Limited (Newfoundworld) is a consortium of Swire Properties, Hang Lung Properties, Henderson Land Development, New World Development and Sun Hung Kai Properties. It is the registered owner of Citygate, a commercial complex adjacent to the Tung Chung MTR station in Hong Kong, comprising a shopping centre called Citygate Outlets, the Novotel Citygate hotel and an office tower.

Challenges

As Hong Kong's premier outlet mall located in Tung Chung, Citygate Outlets has doubled the amount of retail space with the opening of the new extension, which requires ELV solutions. The development of the new extension also features the new five-star 206 rooms and suites luxury boutique hotel, The Silveri Hong Kong – MGallery, which is in need of IT and ELV solutions. With a tight project timeline, the solutions need to support efficient operations, deliver differentiated services and guest experience.

PCCW Solutions is designated to design and implement comprehensive ELV systems for the new extension of Citygate Outlets and Silveri Hotel, including CCTV Video Surveillance, Walkie Talkie System, Public Address System, Access Control System and Security System. Well performing with professionalism and service commitment, PCCW Solutions is awarded with another project of deploying the ICT network and supplying network infrastructure for Silveri Hotel, including Wi-Fi and IPTV network, server and storage etc., in adjacent to the ELV systems implementation initiated earlier.
