Challenges

Recognizing the importance of digital transformation, the client engaged LPS to evaluate their current IT environment and provide recommendations for effectively leveraging cloud technologies to boost scalability and agility, ensuring the institute's sustainability and growth.

One of the client's primary objectives was to enhance visibility into their existing cloud environment by unifying and integrating data across various systems. This integration would facilitate better management and oversight of their applications. Additionally, the client aims to proactively plan for cloud security and workflows, ensuring these elements can evolve in tandem with their expanding needs.

Solutions

LPS conducted a comprehensive discovery study of the client’s IT infrastructure, encompassing hardware, software, data management practices, and security protocols. This thorough assessment provided a holistic view of the client’s existing ecosystem. The scope of the evaluation included cloud and application architecture, access controls, encryption and backup processes, logging and monitoring, and more.

On the security front, we have delivered a bird’s eye view of endpoint security, Identity and Access Management (IAM), network security, and cryptography, evaluating secure configurations, access controls, data encryption practices, and the integrity of communication channels. Finally, we also provided technical documentation for audit and onboarding purposes to support compliance practices.

Following this comprehensive technical assessment of their current landscape, we compiled a review report detailing the existing technology governance, policies, processes, and cloud security configurations. This analysis aimed to align the client with industry best practices. Armed with these insights, we enabled them to gain a deeper understanding of application complexity, facilitating data-driven decision-making and fostering sustainable digital transformation.
